Rev 12:11 tells us that the believers overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
The blood that was shed by Jesus must be applied onto the doorposts of our lives by our testimonies. When we declare – before God, before ourselves and before the Devil »»

The PPH Young Adults Ministry recently had our annual Retreat at the Boys Brigade Headquarters. Titled “The Father Heart of God”, it was held from 28 – 29 May 2010.
During those two days, we encountered the real and intimate presence of God through worship and through the Word of God. The sermons, delivered by Mrs Esther Soo from Ellel Ministries, reminded us of our identity as children of the Most High God. One highlight was the excursion to Botanical Gardens, when we were encouraged to walk amidst God’s creation and then express our gratitude to Him through painting. Many Young Adults felt refreshed by this short break from city-life, and there were also several beautiful drawings by the end of that morning!
Aside from the teaching sessions, we also had a lot of fun together! We bonded through games, soccer matches, midnight movie outings, late-night suppers and more. It was a good chance for us to get to know Young Adults from other cell groups better, and new friendships were definitely forged through this retreat.
All in all, this retreat was a precious time spent in the presence of God and with His people. To echo the YA Theme for this year, in YA Retreat 2010 we saw “God with us, and God among us”.
Thank God for a fruitful YA mission trip to Batam (2-4 Apr) with International Bethesda College.
The theme was “You are Special” based on the story of Zacchaeus. The missions team was led by Kuan Meng, and consisted of Chee Meng, Joshua, Darren, Samuel, Wei Jia, Gan Ann, Christine and Adeline.
Praise God for using us to minister to the children, youth and adults. Our hearts are greatly blessed by their faith and worship!
Check out the best moments of the Young Adults in 2009. May God bless us with more good moments to come!
